The Patriotic Song is the anthem of Alba. It was created in the 18th Century in honour of the Mobian victory over the human rebels. It became the kingdom's anthem in 1834. It originally had a melody that resembles the Vulgarian national anthem in the 1968 film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. However, due to the resemblance, the melody was changed to its current form after the film was released.

Vulgaria is the poetic name for Alba.

English Lyrics[edit | edit source]

We are Loyal to Vulgaria,

Vulture of the West,

And we toil for King Acorn,

Maintaining his rule

The soil of Vulgaria

to all the men is known

From her heights all the way down to her valleys

Vulgaria forever

For hundreds of years,

Vulgaria has ruled free,

Descended from the Moblos,

Vulgarians live strong

Our Catholic King

will reign long and prosper

From King Max the first to our incumbent

For God and our King

Vulgère a jugé libre,

Descendu des Moblos,

Vulgarois vivent fort

Notre Roi Catholique

Régnera longtemps et prospérera

De King Max à notre titulaire

Pour le roi et Dieu
